Stellar Top-notch Service - This is the gold standard of customer service. My journey begins with me looking for the elusive LEGO Technic McLaren P1 set. Found a last available piece at Hamley’s website online but wasn’t able to purchase - because of a technical issue of paying with gift vouchers. Dejected, I decided to call up every store in Bangalore to check the availability of this item and purchase it in-store. Hamley’s at UB City Mall was the first store I had called - and I met our superstar of this story: Mr. Madan, the store assistant. He told me that though the item wasn’t available at the store, he would go out of his way to ensure he got it from the warehouse within a couple of hours. Next, as a LEGO enthusiast it was one my biggest concerns of how the badly damaged the packaging would be. Since the unboxing experience of such an expensive set is a make-or-break deal, I relayed this concern to Madan. He made sure he got the ‘best packaged box’ of the lot and waited for me at the store till I came to pick it up. Remember that I had still not paid for the item - I was only going to do so after I visit the store, inspect, and be satisfied that the packaging was not compromised. At the store, I met Madan and the ever-so-friendly and enthusiastic store manager Ms. Sakshi. Both of them told me how happy and eager they were to make all the arrangements and secure all the approvals to ensure that this item would be available at the store for me to purchase and pick up - within a matter of hours after my phone call. Even during the billing process, Ms. Sakshi accommodated my request to ensure that I utilize my gift vouchers and that I return home a happy chappie. Thank you guys!
